Giving Tree and Outreach
CCW is once again sponsoring the Giving tree for the 2025 Christmas Season. If you would like to buy gifts for an entire family, either by yourself or with family members or friends please call Carla at 815-545-4948. The tree, with wishes and needs, will be set up at the CCW bake sale in the Parish Hall on November 22 and 23. The weekends following the Bake Sale, the tree will be set up in the back of church. All wrapped gifts are due back by Sunday December 14. If you prefer to make a cash donation, a CCW member has volunteered to shop and wrap gifts for you.
Additionally, the Outreach program is continually accepting donations of items to help those in need. All items can be dropped off before mass on the cart in the vestibule, or during the week Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on the cart in the vestibule. Items in need are: dish soap, paper goods (towels, bathroom tissue, etc.), cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, canned goods, cereal, cake mix, cooking oil, pasta and pasta sauce, soup. All items should be within their window of expiration dates. For additional information about donations and what is needed (or to make a monetary donation) call Lynne at 815-219-5573.
Blessing of The Pets
An annual tradition, with its roots in the teachings and actions of St. Francis of Assisi, saw St. Ambrose an St. Anne Parish perform the blessing of the pets in the church parking lot on Saturday, October 4th. Deacon Richard McCowan performed the ceremony with a wide variety and number of animals present. Below are some photos taken at the ceremony.

CCD Information and Updates
CCD classes for the 2025-2026 school year have started. All classes are full, and enrollment is at capacity. Families who did not make the Fall enrollment date, and are still interested in the possibility of their child attending CCD classes can seek a referral to another parish in the Joliet Diocese that has openings. Openings are not guaranteed, but contact information may be gathered by contacting Sr. Mary Francis at the e-mail link below.
The St. Ambrose-St. Anne CCD program is always looking for devoted adults who are willing to work with our parish youth throughout their catechetical development. If you are interested in being a part of the program you may contact the Religious Education Director (Sr. Mary Francis Werner OSF) via the email link that follows: Contact Sr. Mary Francis

Parish Survey
The 2025 Parish Survey is underway, and your input on this important spiritual information gathering is needed to help shape the future direction of parish initiatives. The surveys are available in Spanish and English and can be filled out either with paper and pencil or electronically. Paper and pencil surveys will be available at all masses and can be filled out and returned during the Month of October via a drop box at the parish office (located in vestibule of church). For those that prefer to submit their survey electronically, the links below will take you to either the Spanish or Englich versions of the survey. Important Note: If you are filling out the survey electronically, it must be filled out in one sitting, as there is no save and return option for the online form. For those concerned with privacy, the online form is anonymous, and the form contents can only be accessed by parish leadership (Father Anthony, the Deacons, and the survey aggregating team).
